Close-Up Magic

Our London shows The Magic Hour and Sleight of Hand on the Strand can be booked as private events for your company. Either you can come to us for the full immersive theatre experience, with a range of food and beverage options, or we can bring a show to your venue.

Stage show (60+ guests)
Our team can provide a magic theatre show experience, or deliver an after dinner show for larger events. Our venues range from private rooms at Savoy, to the 1920's Ballroom at Sheraton Grand Park Lane (up to 400 guests). However we also have show options that can travel internationally.

Tony Middleton 'Sonic'
Resident Magician at the Sheraton Grand Park Lane Hotel, and member of The Magic Circle, Sonic is regarded as one of London's most experienced professional magicians. His exclusive show The Magic Hour has been playing weekly to 5 star reviews and sell-outs since 2013. As seen on Penn & Teller: Fool Us, he has performed all over the world from Rome to Rio de Janeiro. He has performed at Claridges, National Theatre, Natural History Museum, The Grove, The Landmark, Mandarin Oriental, London Edition and St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, and Savoy where his show Sleight of Hand on the Strand ran for 3 years. He has performed at events for / alongside the likes of Gary Barlow, Jonathan Ross, Sir Roger Moore, and The Hairy Bikers.
Sonic pioneered the immersive magic show format in London over the last 7 years, and specialises in producing alternative magic experiences. Past projects include Magic & Mixology at The Vaults, and Secret Cellar - a hidden underground magic theatre in Waterloo. He manages magic acts at London's only Magic Bar - Maskelyne & Cooke. His book Performing Magic, with forewords by Paul Daniels & David Berglas has received critical acclaim from Las Vegas headliners.
